LAX Transit Corridor

LAX Transit Corridor

Project Summary:
2016-2019
This design-build project encompassed the creation of an 8.5-mile-long light rail transit system connecting LAX Airport to the city of Inglewood and the historic Crenshaw District in the city of Los Angeles. The project featured the construction of eight new stations, including three underground stations, one mile of twin-bored tunnel, and six bridges. Among these bridges was a notable 315-foot structure spanning over I-405, which happens to be the busiest and most congested freeway in the United States.

My Role:
As the Technology Project Manager for the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor Project, my responsibilities were extensive. I managed seven different office locations, each accommodating over 400 users. My role involved working on a suite of solutions and providing support to each office. This encompassed managing SharePoint sites, overseeing network equipment, coordinating computer deployments, facilitating iPad and iPhone deployments, maintaining the project website, and overseeing the deployment of computers across the entire West Coast region.

In this multifaceted role, I played a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation of technology systems, enhancing collaboration among users, and contributing to the success of the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor Project.
